Angela Sairaf is a Brazilian contemporary fine art and documentary photographer. Angela earned her Master of Contemporary Photography from the EFTI International School of Photography and Cinematography, in Madrid, Spain and her PhD in Techniques and Processes in Imaging from Madrid’s Complutense University. She has received three training scholarships at the International University Menéndez Pelayo where she studied visual poetry, creative processes of a reporter and the nature of photography. She has worked for over 15 years as a writer and photographer for important Brazilian magazines. In the 90’s, Angela worked for a renowned modeling agency in Tokyo. Her work has been awarded and featured in both solo and group exhibitions in different countries and is part of the collection of MACRS – Contemporary Art Museum of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She currently lives and works in Spain.
