Nádia Maria, born in 1984, is a Brazilian photographer based in Bauru, São Paulo. She studied photography by Senac/Brazil but her relationship with the camera began in her childhood when she started to take pictures of her dolls. This became stronger in her adolescence as the images she captured became a personal journal of the feelings and transformations she was going through in her life. Her poetic and intimate work has won recognition in many countries, publications and exhibitions worldwide. The focus of her inspiration is at poetry, and photography is her writing, her intimate feelings, the darkness and the light of her life.
