Taking The Plunge is a multi-awarded short animated comedic action film directed by Thaddaeus Andreades, Marie Raoult, Nicholas Manfredi and Elizabeth Ku-Herrero, as their final year thesis at the School of Visual Arts in New York. The original soundtrack was composed by Jerome Leroy.

Taking The Plunge has so far won an ADC Black Cube for best-in-show and an ADC Gold Cube in Motion, Animation at the Art Directors Club ADC 95th Annual Awards Celebration and Exhibition at the ADC Gallery in New York (the first time a student entry has won a Black Cube), a Student Academy Award, a Student Emmy Award (College Television Award), Best Digital Short Animation at the Computer Artist it Awards, Best Student Animation at the MIA Film Festival, Best Animation at the The Garden State Film Festival, Best Animated Short at the SilkRoad Film Festival and Best Short Animation at the Beeston Film Festival.
