“Sun Pictures: Henry Fox Talbot and the First Photographs” is a short animated film created by Drew Christie for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and their Photographic Interpretive Center.
The film tells the life story of the first photographs ever made and the forgotten innovations of William Henry Fox Talbot.
Drew Christie is an animator and an illustrator who lives and works in Seattle, Washington, USA. He creates stories through hand-made images and makes short films, music videos, commercials, cartoons, books, zines and relief prints. His work has been featured on various web publications such as The New York Times, The Huffington Post, Boooooooom! and Juxtapoz.
