Freddie Hall is a director, producer and assistant director living in London. Exposed to the world of theatre and film throughout his youth he has worked solidly in the industry for the past seven years. Starting as a floor runner in 2008 he climbed the ladder working on multiple films, tv shows and commercials and shooting his own short films and promo’s in between the work. Best Man is his fourth short film.
Beautifully crafted and acted, Best Man shares a lot with The Durrells, where Josh O’Connor and Lizzy Watts are also a couple and Ben Hall is also one of Josh’s best friends. For those of you watching and loving The Durrells, it is worth mentioning that Ben and Freddie Hall are not only brothers but also the grandsons of the fabulous Leslie Carron, who’s currently playing Countess Mavrodaki in the TV series.
