My Sister’s Dollhouse

“My Sister’s Dollhouse” is a bittersweet comedy short film written and directed by Jim Archer and cinematographed by Charlie Goodger, starring David Elms. The colouring is by Alistair James Holloway and the music by Dexter Britain.

The film which is presented in an autobiographical documentary parody style, tells the story of a filmmaker who tries to discover himself by making a film… and fails.

Jim Archer is a writer and director working mostly in comedy. Currently living in London but originally heralding from the East Anglian flatlands, Jim cut his teeth shooting comedy sketches with friends before writing and directing his debut short film “Intervention“. He has since gone on to direct 5 adverts for Virgin Holidays, music videos for the likes of Summer Ghost and his latest short “Phil” recently had a hugely positive reaction online with articles from Creative Review, It’s Nice That and No Film School among others.
