Anna Bresoli is a Spanish photographer born in 1979. She studied image and sound and specialized in digital and creative photography. Anna began her professional career in journalism and has worked for several different newspapers in Spain (La Mañana, El Periodico de Cataluña, La Vanguardia) and the US (Agencia EFE). In Brooklyn, NY, she developed a project about the Orthodox Jew Community which was exhibited in different galleries in Spain. Later on, Anna decided to give up photojournalism for advertisement and worked for Factor Comunicación developing the creative concept for different campaigns. She has also worked as a production and light assistant in the photography studio Plató La Fabrica, and also spent three years as the director of the Rafart Gallery for the sculptor Lorenzo Quinn. As a co-founder of the photographic collective Cuadro15, Anna developed a series of different projects which were exhibited in galleries in Barcelona, Vitoria, and Sevilla. She was also published in the Spanish Photographers Dictionary and featured in magazines such as Literature Magazine, Bultra and Area Zinc Art. Her latest project “Sounds of Suffocation” has been published by different digital magazines such as INAG Magazine, Inkult Magazine and Lamono. Anna is currently based in Berlin, Germany and is working on a new project that will be exhibited in Greenhouse Berlin gallery this September (from the 23rd to 26th). The project speaks about self-knowledge, based in the “Mirrors Theory”; Even the smallest detail we experience speaks from our inner self.
