The Arrival


The Arrival is a short drama film directed by Daniel Montanarini, starring Emily Barber and Ciaran Kellgren. The direction of photography is by Alistair Little and the production by Jacob Thomas and Zen Design Studios.

Daniel Montanarini is a writer and director based in London.  He graduated from The National Film and Television School with a MA in Directing Fiction in 2015 and studied Film and Literature at The University of Warwick. His first short film The Guest, starred Olivia Williams (Rushmore, Sixth Sense, Maps To The Stars) and premiered at Krakow International Film Festival. It went on to be promoted by The British Film Council’s Short Support Scheme. His graduation film Seahorse premiered at The Austion Film Festival in 2015 where it was nominated for Best Narrative Short and was featured at the Best of Cinema Jam 2015 event last December. The Arrival is in The Official Selection for this year’s BAFTA.
