FRENSHIP are an American electronic music duo, hailing from Los Angeles, California, consisting of James Sunderland and Brett Hite. The two met while working at a fitness store, became fans of each other’s music and eventually began creating music together. Their music is summery, electronic pop, characterized by soft synths and euphoric beats. The duo made their debut on SoundCloud with the track “Knives,” produced alongside Norwegian producer Matoma. The song was an instant hit and was soon followed up by two more tracks; “Nowhere” and “Carpet”. Their debut EP “Truce” was released via Columbia Records last September and they are now hitting the road on a nationwide tour.

“Capsize” which is going viral at the moment, is their 4th single and it is a collaboration with singer/songwriter Emily Warren. The video, starring Kayla Kalbfleisch and Matthew Peacock, is directed by Andrew Donoho, the direction of photography is by Boyd Hobbs and the choreography is by Denna Thomsen.
