A young married couple brings two of their single friends out to Palm Springs for a long weekend. It does not go as planned. Note: The film contains some sensual scenes.
Michael Mohan creates films with a stylized, solar and sensual directing style. A graduate of a Californian film school and a writing course with Stewart Stern, he has been a regular at the Sundance Film Festival and has also directed numerous music videos and commercials. He lives in LA with his wife Kelly. Pink Grapefruit premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and went on to win the jury prize at the SXSW Film Festival. The film was released via The New Yorker and written about in Vice Magazine. The fim was shot in a beautiful Howard Lapham designed mid-century modern house, in Rancho Mirage, in California at a temperature of around 110 degrees outside.
