Aurora

Aurora by ZeroSquared

Aurora is not another tiny home. Designed by ZeroSquared from the ground up with long term livability in mind, it is the first tiny home to have opposing expanding rooms. This innovative design creates 100ft² (9m²) extra living space, while keeping the length at a manageable 26 feet (about 8 meters), creating a total of 337ft² (31m²) and making Aurora more spacious and comfortable than any other tiny home on the market.

ZeroSquared believes that living in a tiny home shouldn’t mean sacrificing the modern conveniences we love and count on. Aurora was designed to match, if not exceed the expectations you would have for a traditional full-size house. Functionality and safety are the most important aspects of a residence. Aurora welcomes you to sustainable tiny living and gives you piece-of-mind knowing that the structure and framework you live in are state-of-the-art. Square footage isn’t what makes a practical home, but using quality materials and conscious design techniques are. Knowing that people are looking for a home, not a glorified RV, ZeroSquared engineered Aurora to the building standards of a traditional house. Aurora is built with an integrated thermal envelope, abundance of natural light, and uses structural insulated panels (SIP) to provide you with a home that is durable, eco-friendly, and energy efficient.

The kitchen is the heart of the home, and Aurora was designed with this in mind. With strategic placement and creative use of space, this tiny home is able to give you room to cook a grand dinner with friends and family. The bedroom is more than just a place to sleep, therefore Aurora creates a space for you to escape. Made private with two pocket doors, you are able to retreat and relax. When the doors are opened, and your queen-sized Murphy bed is folded up, you now have the option to use this room as an office, or even an entertainment area. This room also provides access to a storage loft, as well as upper cabinets and closet. The living room area design gives you an enjoyable amount of space and the functionality to do whatever it is you want to do comfortably. Catch the latest episode of your favorite show, visit with friends, watch the game, cheers over drinks, or just cozy up with a new book. The Aurora model is versatile and capable of many uses, however, ZeroSquared designers can customize your unit to suit your lifestyle perfectly.

If you loved the renderings, the house is available to pre-order at around $75,000.
