Hum is a multi-awarded short animated film directed by Tom Teller upon a story co-written by him and Andrew Guastaferro. The direction of photography is by Nico Aguilar and the music is by Ryan Stratton. For the full credits click here.

A solitary dish washing robot living out his life in the back room of a restaurant is enlightened to the world that exists beyond his four walls, with the help of a small friend he breaks free of confinement to pursue his dream of exploration.

Tom Teller was born in Portland, Oregon and graduated from the Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in Orange, California with a BFA in Film Production in 2016. He is currently living in Bend, Oregon, attaining his MBA and is in the early stages of opening his production house, Frame 48. Hum was created over one semester (February 2015 – May 2015) with a budget of $2000 for his junior year advanced production class in 2015.
