Raquel Sancinetti is an animator/video editor originally from Brazil who currently lives and works in Montreal, Canada. Before starting to work in the film industry, Raquel studied International Relations. In 2013 she graduated in Film Animation from the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at the Concordia University in Canada. Cycle has been screened in more that 20 film festivals around the world winning the Best Short film Award at the 2014 Goiânia Mostra Curtas in Brazil, Special Mention at the 2013 Montreal Stop Motion Film Festival, Special Award at the 2014 PISAF in South Korea and Achievement in animation at the 2014 Air Canada Enroute Festival.
