Flecha Moon is a dutch band consisting of singer/songwriter Froukje van der Velde, joined by The Confused; Bo Merkus on the double bass and Karl Housley, on the drums and percussion. Music is Froukje’s way to give voice to her heart and mirror her life. She was born and raised in Hague, the Netherlands. She got her first guitar from her mother when she was 14 and went on to win the audience award of the Amsterdam Student Festival. Flecha Moon’s folky sound is intimate and warm, characterised by an almost child-like innocence in Froukje’s vocals.
Paradise is their latest single. The song questions the society we live in and how we all escape our own sense of reality, from drugs in a dark alley to a spiritual journey. Paradise is a narration of how we long to reconnect with the source of our true nature. The video is directed by Michiel Landeweerd who was also responsible for the direction of photography.
